This project highlights three areas of impact: video storytelling, social and infographic design, and digital campaigns enhanced by AI-driven design tools. Select a section to dive deeper into each.

Identifying the Need

Balancing Brand and Science

As Lilly refreshed its brand to be more patient-centric and visually expressive, I led the adaptation of this new direction across a range of deliverables, including the ESR1 video, social graphics, infographics, and AI-driven concepts. Steering the creative process, I collaborated closely with scientific and production partners to ensure each asset maintained medical accuracy while embodying the updated brand identity.

Storyboarding

I worked with the SI director to thoroughly understand and accurately translate the scientific concepts into visual form. Through detailed discussions, we ensured the graphics aligned precisely with the script and faithfully represented the medical data. We made sure the visuals not only supported but enhanced the educational value of the video while upholding scientific accuracy throughout.

ESR1 Video Production

The ESR1 video was a balance of creative vision and technical oversight that transformed complex genomic data into a trusted educational resource for oncology professionals. To establish the right direction, I presented several concept options to the client, which guided the visual and tonal choices throughout production. I directed the video’s creative flow by designing graphics and selecting music that aligned with both the scientific message and Lilly’s refreshed brand. Leading the production team, I oversaw timing, transitions, and audio integration to ensure the final piece was polished, accurate, and engaging.

Social Media Ads & Infographics

Social media ads for Lilly were a collaborative effort, with the scientific team providing tactic lists and approved copy, and me translating those into engaging graphics that aligned with brand guidelines. Each asset balanced consistency with a tailored visual approach that reflected the subject matter and supported the intended call-to-action.

Infographics followed a similar process, often on tight timelines, with the scientific innovation team supplying data points for clear and effective visualization. AI-generated Artwork

For a multi-channel digital campaign with strict character limits, the visuals needed to tell the story with minimal text while remaining clever and conceptual. While the client approved our concepts, they requested precise image modifications across multiple ad sizes on a tight deadline. Traditional stock and Photoshop edits could not meet the brief, so I proposed generating the ad imagery with AI. Using MidJourney and Adobe Firefly, I delivered a cohesive set of distinctive, attention-grabbing images on schedule, ready for deployment across all placements.

Project Reflection

The primary challenge of this project was delivering variety without diluting the message. I led the creative effort, translating the Lilly oncology narrative into multichannel assets that felt native to each audience while remaining true to brand and scientific accuracy. This approach strengthened engagement and guided audiences toward the intended call-to-action.
