My journey to Art Direction has been guided by creativity in its many forms. I started out as a painter and almost became a forensic sketch artist before realizing I wanted to bring creativity to communication, not crime scenes. That initial curiosity of forensics led me to the healthcare space, where science and storytelling clicked.
What I love most about my work is finding the balance between creativity and clarity, and leading teams to design campaigns that inform, empower, and make people feel seen. Working in medical communications, I have learned that representation and empathy are just as important as color palettes and typography. Whether it is a campaign, new brand or product launch, I bring a mix of culture, strategy, and anatomical heart into every project.

I am Iman, a proud Afro-Latina, military brat, and dog mom with roots that reach all the way to Panama. My parents turned every duty station into an adventure, and that spirit of exploration has shaped everything I do. Traveling back home is my creative reset, where my grandparents’ garden reminds me to grow, create, and live with intention. That connection to culture and nature is what fuels both my design and passion for health and wellness. When I’m not working, you’ll find me on a tennis court, at the gym, or cooking something fresh while my dog Cheeto supervises.
Health and creativity have always been a part of my story, and now they shape my purpose. In 2026, I am taking that energy to New York, ready to create, connect, and collaborate with people who care about impact as much as design.
