Understanding the Problem
In a fast-paced healthcare environment, clinicians manage multiple patients each day. Each case comes with unique diagnoses, treatment plans, and administrative needs. The main challenge was to design an intuitive system that simplifies patient registration, streamlines the creation of new profiles, and keeps records organized.
My goal was to create a website and app that could help healthcare professionals efficiently complete administrative tasks allowing for more time to focus on patient care.

Designing the Interface
My overarching concept for Patient File's design was to create an approachable and functional interface. I applied key lessons from each module of the Google UX Design course throughout the project, incorporating feedback and iterating at every stage of the design process.
While my background is in art direction and design, I approached this project through a UX lens by prioritizing clarity, simplicity, and functionality. I selected a muted, cool-toned color palette with a bold accent to draw attention to key actions and guide users intuitively. To ensure readability and consistency across screens, I used the Roboto typeface. Every design choice was made with the user in mind, creating a seamless experience that supports easy navigation.

Project Reflection
This high-fidelity prototype demonstrates how thoughtful UX and clean UI can simplify complex workflows. While the solution has not been implemented, it reflects a strong foundation for a product that could reduce administrative burden for healthcare providers.
