Neurocrine Access Support for INGREZZA

As part of the Neurocrine Access Support program (NAS), INGREZZA helps patients and providers navigate treatment for Tardive Dyskinesia (TD). I led the creative direction and partnered with an integrated team to design a streamlined, user-centered website that extended the visual system established for NAS while addressing INGREZZA’s unique audience needs.

From education to access, the INGREZZA site was designed with two audiences in mind, patients and healthcare professionals. Click below to see how the design was adapted to meet their specific needs.

Identifying the Need

Approach

My team was brought in to integrate INGREZZA into Neurocrine Access Support (NAS) and modernize their patient support program. This meant sunsetting the previous “Inbrace” program and guiding the brand through a digital transformation that felt both compassionate and approachable. I partnered closely with the client to reimagine the site experience for both patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring it remained informative, functional, and reflective of INGREZZA’s hopeful tone.

Collaboration & Execution

I collaborated with the UX designer to apply user research and message testing, helping the client center clarity, accessibility, and empathy throughout the experience. I also worked closely with developers to align design and functionality across both patient and HCP sites.

Core Team:

  • Art Director (my role)

  • Freelance & contract designers

  • Studio Rx Website production team

  • Account manager

  • Project Manager

  • UX Designer

  • Medical Writer

Designing the Patient Website

Our goal was to create a bright, compassionate experience that helps patients feel informed and supported. I worked closely with the client, UX designer, and medical writing team to ensure the website was a clear and digestible resource for navigating INGREZZA treatment and prescriptions. The layout featured step-by-step guidance, simple navigation, and interactive elements designed to encourage exploration without overwhelming the user. Vibrant color, generous spacing, and friendly iconography helped shift the tone from clinical to approachable, supporting patients at every stage of their access journey.

Designing for Healthcare Professionals

For the HCP website, our priority was to ensure healthcare professionals could easily access critical patient resources, most importantly, the enrollment form. To support this, we included clear call-to-action buttons on every page, making key tools consistently available. I also aligned the structure and visual flow of the HCP site with the patient-facing site, allowing providers to guide patients through the experience seamlessly. This mirrored layout helped create consistency across both platforms while maintaining clarity and usability for the HCP audience.

Project Reflection

Creative Oversight

The key challenges of this project were balancing consistency with the NAS and product brand while adapting the design to meet the needs of INGREZZA’s unique audience.

Development & Delivery

Aligning our build timeline with the ongoing Crenessity launch required close collaboration with the development team to manage shifting feedback and tight turnarounds while maintaining a functional, polished, and consistent INGREZZA experience across the Neurocrine Access Support platform.

Looking ahead to version 2.0, we plan to conduct message testing and user testing to identify opportunities to further elevate the site and enhance the patient and HCP experience.
